Menu Basics

A Menu in the SphereWMS system is a screen that has several selection options that allow a user to navigate to an alternate screen or launch a system function.

To trigger a menu item, it may be clicked with a mouse. Menu items are also numbered to enable easy keyboard selection. To select a menu item using the keyboard, enter the number that appears next to the menu item into the "SELECTION"field and press Enter.

All menus beyond the system's Main Menu have quick link buttons that bring a user back to either "Main" (Main Menu) or "Back" (a prior Menu).

Tips & Tricks: Menu Button Alternatives

At any menu's "SELECTION" prompt, type "MAI" Enter to access the Main Menu. This keyboard action behaves the same way as clicking the "MAIN" button with a mouse.

Type "!" (exclamation point) Enter to access the prior menu. This keyboard action behaves the same way as clicking the "BACK" button with a mouse.

Tips & Tricks: Menu Shortcut Codes

Another option to navigate within the SphereWMS System is to use Menu Shortcut Keys. Menu Shortcut Keys are 2 to 3-character codes that the user can type into the "SELECTION" prompt and press Enter to jump to a specific menu quickly.
