Cycle Counting is done to check and manage the inventory levels in a warehouse. When a count is initiated, the system takes a snapshot of the inventory levels for the count.  However, the warehouse may continue receiving, ordering, allocating, and shipping activities.  This must be kept in mind when reconciling any differences. Because the system does not prevent system transactions from taking place during a Cycle Count, a warehouse manager should keep the level of activity in mind when managing a Cycle Count process. A quiet system is best for conducting Cycle Counts and will help when reconciling any inventory discrepancies.

To access the Cycle Count Processing Menu, select "Inventory Management" from the Main Menu and select "Cycle Count" from the sub-menu.
